LA VIDA BOHÈME
La Vida Bohème is a GRAMMY nominated and twice Latin GRAMMY nominated dance rock band. Their 2011 debut album ‘Nuestra’, was featured in NPR’s ‘Top 50 Albums of the Year’, and the band was selected as iTunes ‘Breakthrough Latino Artist of the Year’ and finalists in MTV Iggy’s ‘Best New Band in the World’ La Vida Boheme's first performance in the US, at the Latin Alternative Music Conference earned the band a photo and feature on the front page of the NY Times’ arts section.
Their song “El Buen Salvaje” appears in EA Games’ video game ‘FIFA 2012’. At SXSW 2012, La Vida Boheme was featured on both the Billboard and NPR showcases, performances reviewed by Esquire Magazine: “ When I saw this band at SXSW, I flashed to seeing The Clash in 1979. It was the fierceness, the original sound, the hodgepodge of styles it was the clash of cultures and sound.” La Vida Boheme’s debut album, ‘Nuestra,’ owes as much to influences like LCD Soundsystem and The Clash as it does to Mercedes Sosa and Mano Negra.
